If you're interested in volunteering and would like more information on how you can help, take a look at our Volunteer Role Description Booklet. All roles are important and any way you can help is greatly appreciated!

**Young people who have completed Grade 7 in June or are up to age 18, can sign up as Junior volunteers.**

What Role Can You Play?

Sign-Up As A Volunteer

All Volunteers MUST complete these steps:

1. Fill out a volunteer application form.

2. Volunteers 18 and older must obtain a vulnerable Sector Police Check (about a 6 week wait). A reference letter is needed from Westburne and can be requested from our Youth Pastor, Charlotte Lennox by emailing charlotte@westburnechurch.com

3. Complete one of our Plan To Protect Courses.

~ First Timers must attend our course on April 26th.

~ A refresher is required by anyone who attended the first time course last year. There will be two dates to choose from June 6th OR June 14th.

4. Fill out a Ministry Personnel Application Form and submit it to the church office.

Important Dates

Plan To Protect Training Sessions

Introductory Session - For all volunteers who have never attended Plan to Protect Training.

Saturday April 26th, 2025 @ 9-11am

--Friday July 4th @ 4:30pm--

Refresher Sessions - For all volunteers who have attended a Plan to Protect Training in the past. (Must attend one)

Friday June 6th, 2025 @ 7-8:30pm

Saturday June 14th, 2025 @ 10-11:30am

Junior Volunteer Training

Friday May 2nd, 2025 @ 6-9pm

Join us this Friday, May 2nd, for our Summer Camp Training Evening, specially designed for the young people (18 and younger) who will be helping out at camp this year.

We’ll start with some food and fun, and then dive into practical training on leadership, responsibilities, and expectations for serving at camp.

We’ll also begin assigning roles based on each person’s interests.

By the end of the evening, participants will either have a clear plan for their role at camp or will complete a planning exercise using the tools and guidance we’ve provided.

It’s going to be a meaningful and interactive night as we prepare together to make camp great!

All Camp Volunteers are encouraged to join us this evening to find out what your role at camp will be and what the week will look like.

Donate Supplies and Decorations For Camp Week

We need your help to transform our space into an amazing camping experience! There is a list of items that will be used for decoration purposes ONLY and will be returned to you after camp. There is also another list of household items and supplies that you may have laying around and are willing to part with. We will be accepting your items starting the first week of June.
