Sign-Up As A Volunteer

All Volunteers MUST complete these steps:

1. Fill out a volunteer application form.

2. Volunteers 18 and older must obtain a vulnerable Sector Police Check (about a 6 week wait), if you have not completed one after July 20, 2023. A reference letter is needed from Westburne and can be requested from our Youth Pastor, Charlotte Lennox by emailing charlotte@westburnechurch.com

3. Complete one of our Plan To Protect Courses.

~ First Timers must attend our course on June 13, 2026.

~ A refresher is required by anyone who attended the first time course last year. There will be two dates to choose from June 19th OR June 20th.

4. Fill out a Ministry Personnel Application Form and submit it to the church office.

Volunteer Information Night

Friday March 6 @ 6PM

Anyone interested in being a Camp Volunteer is encouraged to join us this evening to find out more about this year's summer camp, what roles are available and to ask questions.

Plan To Protect Training Sessions

Introductory Session - For all volunteers who have never attended Plan to Protect Training.

Saturday June 13th, 2026 @ 9AM

Refresher Sessions - For all volunteers who have attended a Plan to Protect Training in the past. (Must attend one)

Friday June 19th, 2026 @ 7PM

Saturday June 20th, 2026 @ 10AM

Junior Volunteer Training

Friday July 10th @ 7PM

All junior volunteers are to join us this for our Summer Camp Training Evening, specially designed for the young people (18 and younger) who will be helping out at camp this year.

We’ll start with some food and fun, and then dive into practical training on leadership, responsibilities, and expectations for serving at camp.

By the end of the evening, participants will either have a clear plan for their role at camp or will complete a planning exercise using the tools and guidance we’ve provided.

It’s going to be a meaningful and interactive night as we prepare together to make camp great!
