Love, Joy, Peace...
You Are Always Welcome Here!

At Westburne we desire to connect to Jesus, grow together and to serve others. As followers of Christ, we are called to create a welcoming and safe space for all people, regardless of their background, experiences, or circumstances. The heart of our mission is to reflect God’s love and grace to everyone who walks through our doors, embodying the words of Romans 15:7: “Therefore welcome one another as Christ has welcomed you, for the glory of God.”

You've decided to join us in-person?
Great! We're happy to have you with us!

Here's what to expect:
Come As You Are:

There is no dress code here. God accepts you as you are, and so do we!

Parking:

We have 2 entrances to our parking lot. One is located on Rykert Street, the other on Vansickle Road.
Feel free to drop people with mobility issues off at the door before parking.
Accessible parking is available.

Accessibility:

Our building is fully accessible with a ramp and automatic sliding door at the entrance.
An accessible washroom is located on the main floor and an elevator is available to the basement. (Ask for assistance with an elevator key).

Before the Service Begins:

Enter our lobby where you will be greeted by friendly faces and fresh coffee or tea. Grab a cup, and say hello then head to the sanctuary.
Once in the sanctuary, pick a chair any chair, and make yourself comfortable!

The Service:

Our services last about 90 minutes and typically consist of a greeting followed by worship in song, then announcements and a time of prayer,
before a short NextGen spotlight for the kids. Children are welcome to come up front if invited during this time, or they can choose to stay in their seat.
After this, the children head downstairs for Kids Church; while upstairs, we share in more worship in song and a message.
Our service typically concludes with more prayer and worship in song.

Communion usually takes place on the first Sunday of every month.

Sunday Kids Programs:

We have an unstaffed nursery available for children 0-3 years. (A parent/caregiver must stay with the child in the nursery).

Kids Church is available during the service for children in JK-Grade 5

Elevate is a Junior Youth program we offer every other Sunday after the service for Grades 6-8

(Click the link below for more information about our NextGen Programs).

**If you have a child(ren) who will be participating in Kids Church, or Elevate, you will need to register your family for sign-in and sign-out purposes.
This can be done before you arrive by clicking the button below (as it may take a few minutes), then you will only need to sign your child(ren) in for the program on arrival.
Or this can all be done when you get here, at the NextGen sign-in station in the lobby.
If you need assistance, one of our greeters will be able to help you.**

Giving:

There is no expectation that you put money in our offering, or make a donation to our church when you come.
We don't pass a plate around here.
However, if you felt inclined to make an offering/donation, an offering mailbox is located at the entrance to our sanctuary,
or you could donate online at the link below.

After the Service:

If you have a child(ren) in one of our programs, make sure to sign them out!
You are welcome to stay and chat after the service, and enjoy more coffee or tea!
If you need to speak to a Pastor they are available to listen and/or sit with you in prayer.

During the summer months join us after the service for a free BBQ lunch and time of fellowship
