What Do Our Campers Experience?

At Westburne summer camp our campers experience a week of faith and fun in an inclusive and welcoming environment.

Who Is Camp For?

School-aged children who are potty trained and have completed JK-Grade 6 at the end of June 2026 are welcome to join us at camp.

Our facilities are accessible, so we are able to welcome campers of all abilities. PSW support is also welcome to join any campers who need it (please provide workers information/details on registration form).

When and Where Is Camp?

Camp will take place the week of

July 20-24, 2026

9:00AM to 3:30PM

Westburne Alliance Church

237 Rykert Street, St. Catharines.

Cost

2026 Camp fee is $80/camper

This fee covers the full week of day camp including a T-shirt for each camper and one snack/day.

Fees can be paid (preferably) online when registering, but also later by eTransfer or online through Westburne's "Giving" tab and should be designated as "Summer Camp Fee".

Payments by cash or cheque (made out to Westburne Alliance Church) are also accepted, and can be paid in person during church office hours.

All payments must be made by July 10, 2026

** Summer Camp fees are not eligible for donation receipts or childcare expenses claims. Thank you for your understanding. **

At Westburne we want to see all children with the desire to attend camp have the freedom to participate. If your family needs assistance with the cost of registration, a limited number of bursaries are available.

Our Theme for Summer Camp 2026

This year's theme will provide a spiritually rich experience designed to take kids on an unforgettable journey through a multiverse of wonder and fantasy. Along the way, they will discover what it means to follow Jesus and find life in God's kingdom.

Together we will unlock who Jesus is, what He's done and who we are because of Him.

Our Week At A Glance

Each day these big ideas will help combine excitement with Bible-based learning, inspiring kids to follow Jesus. They will learn that Jesus is the light of the world and that by following Him we are filled with His light so others can see His love through us.

Monday

Because of Jesus, I am called

"Jesus calls His disciples"

- Luke 5:1-11

Today we'll learn that Jesus doesn't just help us when we're stuck - He gives us a new and better path! Because when we follow Jesus, we don't walk in darkness; we walk in His light! Every single time, Jesus is trustworthy. Jesus is the way!

Tuesday

Because of Jesus, nothing can shake me

"Jesus walks on water"

- Matthew 14:22-23

Today we'll learn that Jesus sees us, even in the hard times. We can be reminded that Jesus is more powerful than any storm we might face. and, we can trust that Jesus is always with us!

Wednesday

Because of Jesus, I am saved

"Jesus' Crucifixion and Resurrection"

- Luke 23:32-45, 55-56

Today we will learn Jesus gave His life for us. He took our place so we could be close to God forever. BUT He didn't stay dead - He came back to life! So we can have new life too!

Water Day!

Our afternoon will be filled with wet and wild fun. Including inflatables, slip and slides, bubbles and water games!

Thursday

Because of Jesus, I am made new

"Peter's Denial & Restoration"

- Matthew 26:31-35; Mark 16:6-7; John 21:15-19

Today we will learn that when we mess up or sin, Jesus doesn't walk away - He comes close. He forgives us, and gives us a fresh start. Jesus makes us new!

Friday

Because of Jesus, I am sent

"Pentecost/Early Church"

- Acts 2

Today we will learn that when we choose to follow Jesus, God gives us the Holy Spirit as a gift. That means we can ask for help any time. And because the Holy Spirit helps us, we can help others too!

Carnival Day!

Campers will enjoy some carnival fun outside during game time.

Then, the fun will continue at the end of the day as parents and families are invited to join us for an end of camp carnival!

Our Volunteers

Our volunteers are passionate about serving God and making sure our campers have a fun and meaningful experience at day camp. And parents can have peace of mind knowing that at Westburne, we are committed to keeping their children safe.

Plan To Protect Training

All of our volunteers must

complete Plan to Protect training

as part of our child safety policy.

Police Checks

All of our volunteers aged 18+

must pass a vulnerable sector

police check in order to work

with our campers.

First Aid Training

Several volunteers are First Aid

certified and will be available to

tend to any injuries or illnesses

that (hopefully don't) happen

during camp.

Bursaries

We would never want to see a child miss out because of cost. A limited amount of bursaries are available to help families cover the cost of camp either partially or fully. If you feel that your family could use some assistance, please fill out our short application form to get the process started.
